Mark your calendars for the District 1 College Fair Extraordinaire

• When: Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Where: Pierce College
• Why: College representatives from over 100 colleges will be present. Several important and informative workshops will be offered on topics including, writing your college essay, financial aid 101, the UC application, the CSU application, and NCAA information. The entire event is free!

The PSAT will be given at Taft on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. All 10th grade students will take the exam. The District will pay for all students with 10th grade credit and they will automatically be registered for the test. Students in grades 9 and 11 may register for the exam.

• Exam Cost – $15.00 – Regular Registration (September 14-21)
• Add                $20.00 – Late Registration (September 22-27)
• Register in the College Office during nutrition or lunch.
• Cash only. No checks will be accepted.
